Hosting a party? Skip the disposables and borrow a reusable party kit! Choosing reusables saves you money and reduces waste. Whether your event is a family gathering or for your community group, HOA, faith community, or business, we welcome your request.

Clean Fairfax offers reusable party kits for up to 120 adults (we have 4 kits that each serve 30 guests) and up to 36 children (one kit for 36 kids).

Adult party kits contain:

  • Large plates
  • Small plates
  • Bowls
  • Cups
  • Cutlery (forks, knives, and spoons)
  • Tablecloth

 

Children’s party kit contains:

  • Plates
  • Bowls
  • Cups
  • Cutlery (forks, knives, and spoons)
  • Tablecloth

 

We also offer additional items:

  • Small cocktail cups (48)

Party kit elements are made of tough, reusable plastic. These party packs were created to be shared with care: borrowed, used, washed, dried, and returned ready to be used by the next group. This cycle of sharing and reuse supports a community-based circulation economy. Our aim is to reduce dependence on single-use items, create less waste, and conserve resources.

While there is no charge to borrow a party kit, we always appreciate a donation (suggested: $20) and we do require a $50.00 deposit upon booking, payable by cash, Venmo, or Zelle. Deposits paid by Venmo or Zelle are subject to a small, nonrefundable processing fee (<$2.00). All party kits must be returned in a timely fashion, clean and dry. Once the party kits have been returned and inspected, we will return your deposit, less the replacement cost for any missing or damaged pieces. We also charge a penalty fee for kits that are returned not properly cleaned.

Please submit your request at least a week in advance of your event. Submission of this form does not guarantee booking or availability; we will confirm your request via email.

All party kits must be picked up and returned to Clean Fairfax’s office at 10400 Eaton Place, Fairfax, VA 22030.

Deposit Return Policy:

All reusable party kits must be thoroughly washed and dried prior to returning them to Clean Fairfax. We will inspect the party kit(s) to determine completeness and cleanliness. If all is in order, your deposit will be returned in full in the same method of payment.

We will deduct from your deposit the following per item costs for damaged or missing pieces:

  • Plates, bowls, cups: $3.00 each
  • Cutlery: $1 each
  • Tablecloths: $18 each
  • Serving trays: $15 each
  • Serving bowls: $25 each
  • Serving spoons and tongs: $2 each
  • Pitchers: $25 each
  • Cocktail cups: $1 each

In the event that the value of missing or damaged items exceeds the amount of your original deposit, Clean Fairfax will retain the deposit and invoice you for the balance owed. Thank you for understanding that we aim to keep these party kits in complete, excellent condition and this policy reflects reasonable replacement costs to rebuild the party kits for the next borrowers.
